'Till Death (or our wedding night) Do Us Part

Today I had a total case of the Mondays. But then, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette totally made my day with this gem of a news story.

Love, (Bam!) honor (Pow!) and obey (Wham!): Wedding night brawl lands couple in jail

Full Story: http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/08119/877164-54.stm

To sum it up, rather than spend their first night as newlyweds in a hotel room, a bride and a groom got into a fight and spent their wedding night in separate jail cells.

Here are my top three favorite lines from the story:

3. He (the groom) was arraigned wearing tuxedo pants, a bloodied T-shirt and one shoe.

2. Mrs. Wielechowski, still dressed in her wedding gown, was picked up by her father and taken home.

1. Dr. Wielechowski "then used a karate-style kick with his leg to kick Christa, knocking her to the floor," the complaint reads.

I wonder if he learned that kick from Mr. Miyagi.
