Crafter Heaven

By now, most of you have probably heard of Etsy. It’s basically the Holy Trinity craft show on crack. Contemporarty crafters from around the U.S. can sell their creations on this site. It’s also a great place for “I can make that” inspirations.

Browsing through Etsy, here are some of my favs.

Drink Up: Etsy offers a wide-range of hand painted cocktail glasses. The monogrammed wine glasses from Pendragon Art Works are just adorable. Seller Verre Du Jour has martini glasses painted with cherries and olives. In the past, I’ve seen glasses with cute recipes painted on – a perfect hostess or birthday gift!

Ice Ice Baby: A terrific place for handmade jewelry, Etsy should be your number one stop when looking for unique items. The Evelyn by Luxe Deluxe necklace reminds me of an expensive Chanel, but for a fraction of the price. I love, love, love these earrings by JenJewelry.

Bag Lady: There are a ton of options for handmade bags on Etsy. Vicky Riley may be a little pricey, but her coin purses are adorable. I also love the eco-friendly bags from Melissavest – especially the one with the bees. If you ask me, you can totally DIY this one. There is also this adorable bag from Morelle out of Ansterdam. I totally love the color.

Clothes: While Etsy doesn't have virtal fiting rooms, it does have some delicious clothing options. These super cute ruffle number from necessityisthemother and this casual frock from dressupmama are awesome late-summer dresses.

Next time you are looking for a unique item, visit Etsy and support the Crafters of the world!
